Dorcas Apisi Foundation(DAF) is a non-profit organization, which  was established and named a woman role model, who demonstrated  un-parallel leadership, and love for  children education.

As a farmer she grew different types of crops including indigenous vegetable and fruits which she sold and contributed to payment of fees and buying uniforms for some students.

As a person so keen on healthy living she would sit with women groups and talk to them about food and how to grow and feed their families. she also selflessly begun sponsoring construction of a church, but died before its completion.

This foundation is established in her honor and to continue the good work she started doing.

MISSION STATEMENT 

We exist to do the following

-Recognize the dignity of each child whom we seek to help.

-Prompt good practice in the level of support offered to children we support, our partners and other agencies.

-Use innovative approaches to problem solving in our relation with the children we support and our staff.
